WHAT IS MASS MARKETING ?

U.S. Army Mass Marketing Schemes Mass Marketing is a type of marketing (or attempting to sell through persuasion) of a product to a wide audience. The idea is to broadcast a message that will reach the largest number of people possible. Traditionally mass marketing has focused on radio, television and newspapers as the medium used to reach this broad audience. By reaching the largest audience possible exposure to the product is maximized. In theory, this would directly correlate with a larger number of sales or buy in to the product's message. Of course, mass marketing can be more costly than targeted marketing, which is a concern for corporations. But perhaps not when using taxpayer money.

WALTER REED HOSPITAL

Walter Reed HospitalBehind the door of Army Spec. Jeremy Duncan’s room, part of the wall is torn and hangs in the air, weighted down with black mold. When the wounded combat engineer stands in his shower and looks up, he can see the bathtub on the floor above through a rotted hole. The entire building, constructed between the world wars, often smells like greasy carry-out. Signs of neglect are everywhere: mouse droppings, belly-up cockroaches, stained carpets, cheap mattresses.
OUR BASES ON THEIR LANDMILITARY SEXUAL ASSAULT
Once upon a time, you could trace
the spread of imperialism by counting up colonies. America's version of the colony is the military base; and by following the changing politics of global basing, one can learn much about our ever more all-encompassing imperial "footprint" and the militarism that grows with it.
A congresswoman said that her "jaw dropped" when military doctors told her that 4 in 10 women at a veterans hospital reported being sexually assaulted while in the U.S. military.

FREEDOM OF INFO ACT

Freedom of Info Act, FOIA
Like all federal agencies, the Department of Justice (DOJ) is generally required under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) to disclose records requested in writing by any citizen. However, agencies may withhold information pursuant to nine exemptions and three exclusions contained in the statute. The FOIA applies only to federal agencies and does not create a right of access to records held by Congress, the courts, or by state or local government agencies. Each state has its own public access laws that should be consulted for access to state and local records.
